Les Oiseaux de Merde launched it’s very first successful event in Summer 2011 in Amsterdam: named The Very First Airplane Food Event. It was such a big success the Dutch Ministry of Foreign affairs approached us to advise them regarding their policy on development. Read the full press release here and check pictures here.
A big event in Amsterdam hosted by campaigning office BKB including famous journalists talking about the future of journalism asked me to do their poster.
My Foundation Times Square to Art Square holded in October 2010 a pre-party in Amsterdam. Except for founding the concept and putting a team together I did the graphs for the event
This poster is designed for a symposium about medicine, genocide and media. It was presented by the famous Dutch Jort Kelder. And organized by my sister, Emma Bruns.
When working in Shanghai at Ken Power Tools as designer and consultant I discovered the value of the Chinese tradition, and by bringing that in, could remove a bit of the “made-in-China-feeling”. These posters are based on traditional Chinese character posters, the characters are changed by the tools and the stamp is the logo of the company, or the ‘artist’.
It’s not an easy job to create for a very creative person, very ‘original’ business cards. It’s actually almost impossible. Since I think business cards are most outdated especially for artists. Anyhow Fred or Frederick Michielsen liked the design.
I designed the packaging for the Keepod USB cards, which are the most secure cards out there.
I designed a complete new identity for a Macanese consultancy firm. The logo refers to drops falling.
