Zinzy Geene, a Dutch twitter friend of mine asked me to illustrate characters for her website Natafelen (after dinner talk [Dutch]) . The idea is cool: it’s about bringing 3 girls in one house and they all write about one situation with three different writing styles.

I always had a great fascination for propaganda. I strongly oppose every form of violence, but here I created one myself based on a British one. The child completely saved from all stupid thoughts, and his dad, full of war propaganda. Pity that war still exists. I’m a dreamer, you know.

Some duckies and mother duck. I have a obsession for birds. Everything around them is cool. They have eggs, with a beautiful shell, they can swim (some of them, ducks in this case can!). And they can fly, they can go where-ever they want!

I love balloons, they make me happy. Sometimes I’m considering buying balloons for somebody, doesn’t matter who, that looks a bit sad. Here the pigeon/chicken would love to have one as well. :)

Fall 2009 I visited Tokyo with my uncle. It really amazed us how silent people are in the subway. They were so silent that we actually made a movie of it. The nice contradiction in this movie, is that I used really heavy background music. Only the last frames, you get an idea about the silentness.

Design I did for Dutch freedom fighter team, for rights on the internet. The Dutch verb “boffen” means being lucky, it also refers to the name of the organization: Bits of Freedom or BOF. How cool is that : )
